Right.
So the idea here is that, for the year of 2008, I’m going to try to write at least– at least– a “thing” a week for the entire calendar year.
Chances are this might include some god-awful poetry, some essays, some poker reports and posts, some sports stories, and some complete non sequiturs. But mostly the god-awful poetry.
Cause I’m quite good at churning that stuff out.
I’ll happily put the over/under of finishing this thing (or these things) at around March. Oooh. Let’s say the Ides of March, no less.
To those of you who stumble across this, I wish you good luck. And please be kind.
And, incidentally, to those of you at home, may I wish you a happy new year.
PS The name. Well I suspect the more philosphically inclined among you may think it’s mildly amusing, but I doubt it. Really.
PPS My personal blogfather, and he-who-I-attempt-to-emulate, talent wise, and, to a large degree, personality-wise, is Paul Cornell. Quake in his presence here: http://paulcornell.blogspot.com/

Beware the Ides of March! (someone was going to say it. May as well be me)
